The recently launched Kickstarter campaign for the 2.5D cyberpunk horror game inspired by Fatal Frame and Clock Tower, “Project Sense” is nearing the final days of funding. Already surpassing its initial goal, and even a few stretch goals, the game seems to be off to a promising start with confirmed releases for all major game consoles, even the misunderstood Vita!
Featuring a futuristic neon Tokyo setting and mixing horror elements and Cantonese traditions with digital ghosts, the game is aiming to truly set itself apart from most. Promising a return to the classic days of horror, the team plans to focus on slow, tense and atmospheric horror, rather than the mundane jump scares we’ve grown accustomed to. So far the title is looking to be a very interesting breath of fresh air in the genre.
